Labelmate AKMU has topped Korean music charts for 29 days with their release 'How Can I Love the Heartbreak.' It is expected that WINNER will also take top spots as they make their comeback.

Leader Kang Seungyoon said, "We decided not to see the chart this time. One of the reasons is AKMU. As soon as AKMU's album came out, we listened to the entire song several times over and over again. Personally, I loved the album so much that I admired it. It's actually a burden for us to make a comeback. However, rather than being burdened, I want to show great performances and notable transformation to fans. I want to focus on showing our fans a good performance at the concert."

WINNER's agency, YG Entertainment, unfortunately, is still wrapped up in various controversies. When asked whether it affects their preparation for the comeback, Kang Seungyoon said, "It is true that the problem was on the nerves. We also look at articles and see people's reactions. Fortunately, we had a chance to meet our fans consistently and we were able to endure thanks to them."

WINNER also addressed Yang Hyunsuk's retirement from YG Entertainment. Kang Seungyoon said, "We had to do everything by ourselves. There are a lot of unconventional scenes in the music video, so we had a lot of meetings about whether this direction is right. We also had six meetings with the music video director."

He continued, "For the first time, the album is the only album we made ourselves. It's true that it's hard because we have to take full responsibility. However, we tried to contain the message that we wanted to convey."
